Oaks Bluff Lodge was established in 1992 and sits high atop a cliff overlooking the Gulf Islands and encompasses one of the most spectacular views in British Columbia. The view extends from the San Juan Islands and onward to the Olympic Peninsula, Victoria, and Southern Vancouver Island to as far north as Nanaimo, the Gulf Islands, over the mountains of the lower mainland and south to Mount Baker. This magnificent 360° view will take your breath away! You can watch the ferries, cruise ships, fishing boats, killer whales, eagles, and pleasure craft go by as you soak up the southern sun all year long.
Catering for functions is available upon request, specializing in all your wedding needs. We are the original wedding palace. Over a thousand disc golfers can't be wrong about our accommodations and the world class Pender Island - Golf Island Disc Park. Magic Lake swimming hole is a ten minute nature walk or a three minute drive from our front door.
We are fully equipped for your convenience. Towels, bed linens, toiletries, and flowers are supplied. Catering can be arranged. We also offer ecotours, fishing and island hopping.
Oaks Bluff Lodge has a fully-enclosed south-facing front solarium that boasts a view of over 30 islands. The house consists of three main suites on three different levels. The Atrium room on the main floor includes a queen-size bed and private deck area. Also on the main floor is the Den with another queen size bed, and a bathroom down the hall.
On the second floor, our Birds Eye Maple Suite includes a Queen-size bed, a private en suite with shower and large jacuzzi tub, and a double-sided fireplace which also affronts the living room, where there is a comfortable hide-a-bed.
The Shangri-la Room is situated on the top floor loft and includes a Queen-size bed. Our rooftop Cupola Room with double-size pullout couch is separate from the main house, and can be included.
We offer satellite TV and WiFi computer access as well as rooftop hot-tub with fresh water for every new booking. We can accomodate what ever your needs are.
